The AIM Connected Day, taking place at Glazier’s Hall in London on April 30th, is organised by the Association of Independent Music (AIM) to bring indie labels together with digital companies. Labels include Dramatico Records, 4AD, Modular, Cherry Red, Domino, Fabric/Houndstooth, Union Square, Rough Trade, Ninja Tune and Brownswood Recordings while tech companies include INgrooves, iTunes, K7 Artist & label Services, Kendra Initiative, Kobalt, Kudos Records, Last.FM, Merlin, Metable and of course, Million Media.
Neil Cartwright will be chairing a panel at 11:15am titled, “Making Sense of Data & Analytics“. This is described on the AIM website as, “Three experts from three independent labels explore how they use data obtained from online sales, social networks, streaming services and advertising to inform all sorts of important decisions, from where to book artists’ tours to what to release next. Speakers will include Sammy Andrews (Cooking Vinyl), Ben Rimmer (Believe Digital) and Grant Bussinger (Warp Records). Chaired by Neil Cartwright (Million Media).”
If anyone would like Neil to ask a question during the panel please post a comment.
