‘City Lights’ Chosen As Radio One’s “BBC Introducing” Track for Week January 12th
Will Robert, the extraordinary guitar player from Cambridge, has signed to Nova Artist Services for publishing and distribution. Will’s melodic vocals and dynamic guitar work’* (*Drummer Magazine UK) are the fruits of over 10 years’ writing, recording and performing experience. His craft for strong song writing has been honed through busking around the UK, and playing venues up and down the country as the frontman in various bands as well as a solo performer.
The partnership with Nova Artist Services includes global publishing for Will’s back catalogue including his debut album, “Transitions”. In addition, Nova Artist Services will distribute new material from Will, including a ‘City Lights’ EP released to coincide with the Radio One plays.

“City Lights” will be the BBC Introducing Track Of The Week starting on 12th January. The track was selected via the national network of 40 local and digital “BBC Introducing” shows before being selected by the Radio 1 Music Team. The track will also be included on Huw Stephens’ weekly podcast, and will be added to the R1 playlist which is published the Wednesday before (Radio 1 Playlist). As well as being seen by R1’s online audience, the R1 playlist is influential on a global basis, with music industry executives and radio programmers around the world keeping close tabs on the tracks added each week.
